Before you start dancing at Silva Dance you may have some questions.
Is learning to dance the right choice?
Absolutely YES. – Silva Dance uses qualified and experienced dance professionals with the knowledge to give you a simple method of quickly learning how to dance. With a bright, comfortable and cheery atmosphere learning at Silva Dance is a unique and fun experience.
What are your operating hours?
We are open from 10 AM to 10 PM, Monday to Saturday. We’re never closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.
What about scheduling?
In order to accommodate your busy schedule, we attempt to be as flexible as possible. Many people schedule the same time every week but it is up to your convenience to reserve your preferred times,
How many lessons will I need?
The length of your course will depend on how proficient you wish to become at dancing. However, the learning is fun – and you will be on your way to confident social dancing after your very first dance Lesson!
How do I start ?
Getting started is easy. The first step is to schedule an introductory lesson with one of our trained instructors. At Silva Dance all new dance Students can take advantage of our special money-saving Introductory offer. Simply complete and submit the introductory offer to get started and we will set up your first lesson.
What are the different types of Dances you offer?
We can help you with your wedding dance, any of your social dance requests, whether you would like to learn solo or with a partner.
Silva Dance can offer instruction in waltz, tango, swing cha-cha, and salsa and Texas 2-step. and club dancing, just to mention a few. –Also Competitive Ballroom & Latin dancing!
Is a partner necessary?
Absolutely not! Silva Dance teaches singles and couples. Intact, private lessons can accommodate up to 4 people or ( 2 couples ). Changing partners can be a great experiece.. If you are a single, your Instructor will dance with you too.

How should I dress for dancing?
Most importantly, wear something comfortable, which allows you to move easily. Of course, we suggest leather-sole shoes for the man, and a shoe with good support for ladies . Sandals or gym or sneakers do not work well as they stick, which is not good for turning or gliding across the floor
How often should I schedule my lessons?
When you are first starting your lessons should be scheduled closer together. It helps you to review and and reconfirms what you have learned. Your progression should be faster and quite quickly you will be able to start a weekly schedule, However, vacations and trips or appointments may conflict.
What is the cost of lessons?
After your Silva’s introductory offer, we have dance lesson programs designed to fit each student’s specific interests & goals. From brushing up to social dancing, and more. We also recommend a Wedding package for those getting married . Silva Dance has programs to meet your individual goals and budget.
What are the benefits of Dancing?
Included with ballroom dancing is having a positive self confidence with improved social interaction & skills. Now that you are dancing you will meet new people and friends. Stand out on the dance floor looking cool and collected with increased grace & poise. Doing that will Improve your cardio, thus reducing stress and improving overall health
