At Silva Dance, we are proud to Host Social Practice Dance Parties so you can dance to some great music, meet new people, and get your body up and moving! Join us for our Saturday Night Social Practice Dance Party where singles are always welcome!
Silva Dance hosts open dance parties on Saturday Nights. An all-levels class starts followed by general dancing to Latin which is a great intro to Salsa Dancing in Long Island, Ballroom and Contemporary music. This is an opportunity to practice what you’ve learned, meet other dancers, dance to social mixers and have fun!
At our dance studio in Long Island, our atmosphere is great you'll find café style tables complete with compliments for socializing. Our floor is enormous. It’s 70ft by 30ft. Enough room for you to really move out. It's a sprung maple floor which means you can dance on it all night and your feet will still feel wonderful even after the party's over! We are fully air conditioned.

Who knows, maybe you'll feel so good that you'll want to try some of the regular salsa dance programs in one of our ballroom dance classes!
